My name is Nonso (@nonsowrites). I am a crypto enthusiast and a devoted steemian.
So I have been trying to spread the word about steem to my friends, family, my followers on twitter--everybody. I think it is important that we create awareness for this platform and the wonderful things happening here and I have been doing just that for the past 2-3 weeks. I have gotten a few persons to sign up by creating accounts for them with steem via @blocktrade, however, they've not been able to understand and appreciate our blockchain. I have lost steem in the process of doing this, so I thought of a better way of going about my task which is promoting steem. This is why I came up with this account.
This is my personal objective and its a small scale project. Think of this as a sample account. For people interested enough to want to try steem out this will be a means to do so without being fully involved. So if they like the experience and communities here and decide to stay I will go ahead to create their own account for them with their earnings.
The breakdown:
I will be giving 1 or 2 persons temporary access to this account for a week. First, they have to make a dtube introductory video explaining how they got to know about steem, what they know about steem and what they hope to achieve on this platform. The importance of doing a YouTube video is to show that they are real persons handling the account at that point in time.
They can try to explore the various dapps and earn something for themselves. If at the end of the week they want to continue I will use their earnings to buy an account for them and steem delegations. They will make a second video detailing their experience and personal steem account which I will create for them so they can gather followers.
If they decline, nothing will be taken from this account, this is the deal. Whatever they earn will return to the reward pool as dust (I will transfer the steem they earn to a null account). I think this is an efficient method of onboarding newbies. Rather than having numerous inactive accounts we can streamline it to just one account which serves as a sample account. Maybe this is an idea what developing in the future. Developers can design temporary accounts with a short lifespan that are linked to the steem blockchain. More like virtual steem accounts where people can explore the steem blockchain without being part of it fully, more like what's obtainable in the 'forex' sphere where starters get a virtual account to trade and get accustomed to the market.
For security purpose, I will be changing the keys weekly so no one has access to the account after their sampling period is over.
I hope to onboard about 40 people with this account and my major point of contact will be twitter. I will be trying to get people on twitter to join steem. If I have sufficient funds I might also run twitter contest periodically. This is a work in progress and I am open to suggestions.

If this turns out to be a success I will get more people involved. For now, it's basically just me.
