This was our third day here in Turkey and we decided to do something different. There are many really interesting ancient buildings here in Turkey so we thought we ought to check them out. So at 7:30 we forced ourselves down for breakfast and set off in a coach.
We went to a few different places, the place we spent the longest at was Perge- Aspendos which is an abandoned ancient city which has been built upon from various time periods. It had these huge towers which were left from Alexander the great but mostly it was Roman architecture with huge baths and an amazing Roman gate which in it's day would have been spectacular.
We then spent about an hour at a huge theater which was incredibly well preserved and we were able to go all the way to the top and view the beautiful scenery in the distance. The theater reminded me off a smaller nou camp because of it's incredibly steep but tall stands.

The amphitheatre is great. Almost as good as the one I saw in Greece, you should go there one day. This is a photo I found of it on Flickr https://www.flickr.com/photos/12496504@N06/6345246222
