Some days are better than others... some days you feel great and some days not so much... From what I have experienced thus far I like to think about it in regards to the cycles of the moon... What I have found is that over the course of one moon cycle your emotions can change drastically... If the moon plays such a large part in the tides of the ocean then why wouldn’t it have an effect on us... We are mostly water after all... It seems to me that if your not feeling so good about something in your life it’s not such a bad thing to wait a few days and see how you feel about it at that point... Of course there are some things in life that you may need to change because they have been consistently a problem or have consistently created an underlying feeling of unhappiness but for me I like to take time to evaluate my feelings instead of reacting in a way that I might regret later due to the fact that I was hasty and reacting out of spontaneous emotion... In my life I believe this has saved me a lot of grief as most of the time if I have a strong feeling about something a few days later I feel much more grounded about the situation... That said, while I may have felt one way yesterday, today is a beautiful day... Here I sit in this beautiful country they call Peru, surrounded by good people and amazing food... I can’t help but think to myself how lucky I am to have found such a place in this life... A place that feels like home to me and people that love me just the way I am... It helps when your sister in-law opens one of the best restaurants in town and you get to eat fresh ceviche with the family, or the clouds part and you get to enjoy a beautiful clear blue sky... There’s a lot of things that can contribute to a beautiful day... But for me i i find that on this day I am filled with gratitude for everything this life has gifted me...
