Our frenchton decided to hang out by me while I was checking our bee hives. Now, this is usually not a problem, but while I was in the hives I noticed that they were honey bound. Honey bound means the bees are out of space to store honey. Since they were honey bound I decided to rob a box off and extract it to give them space. This really angered the bees, understandably, and they were out of the hive flying around more than normal. Our little frenchton decided she was going to play with the flying bees. She took several stings in her back leg and a few on her face when she tried to eat a couple. The pictures don't quite show how bad she looked. We're just thankful she's not allergic. Poor puppy.
