Near the end of my trip I rode my host's e-bike to Rhein Falls in Schaffhausen, Switzerland. I have mixed feelings about riding with a motor... In this case, the bike was available, it had pedals, and to be honest I appreciated the assist option on some of those hills. Living there without an e-bike would definitely lead me to develop killer bike legs!
My first flight was from Switzerland to Iceland. I rushed to make a tight connection and settled in for the long flight "across the pond." I was incredibly lucky to have three seats to myself! I made use of them all to stretch and rest :)
Collected a few passport stamps and had smooth travels both to and from Europe. No missed flights or lost luggage, although I considered missing my connection in Iceland to stay and explore...
And here I am back in Minneapolis. Same story - cycling to water. Same cycling shirt - purchased during my trip in Lauterbrunnen, Switzerland.
