Cemetary at Sunset
Morris Hill Cemetary
Location: Boise, Idaho
Established in 1882, Morris Hill Cemetary sits atop of a hill just above downtown Boise. Once thought of as the "outskirts of town" it mow resides in the middle of a partially commercial but mostly residential area that the locals refer to as the Bench. This makes it for one of the most popular graveyards in the whole of the Treasure Valley.
The popularity makes for clean and kept up plots and grounds.
Year round it is quiet and well maintained? which is why I enjoy coming here. Many of the grave pictures that I post are from here.
The Bench is Best
There are only 3 local graveyards, in the Boise area. Outside of town there are others, still located in the area technically
However, this location, for me is often ideal and the easiest to get to. The other cemetary in town is closer to downtown but has buildings around it and heavy traffic congestion (for Boise).
This cemetary has that old time feel with large looking trees, established mausoleums and a lot of what I'm looking for in grave images.

I appreciated how these shots all came out without editing, i even have a few additional black and whites that I would like to share. I think those ones I'm going to edit and put my name on them for future use as so having got them ready to post. However, given the fact that it is almost Halloween you can bet that I will be posting them soon!

I want my, I had a great time taking pictures over the summer and fall. I've been on the go so much in life has been hectic though and that means that I haven't had much time to process either my art or my pictures.
I can't wait to share them with you. It sounds corny, yet still i am truly looking forward to it. So, thank you for reading and viewing for now. Stay tuned for some really awesome photography, if I do say so myself.

Nice shots and beautiful cemetery. Very well maintained unlike most of the cemeteries here in my country, creepy and look haunted. Perfect place for ghost hunters, I guess ;)
