My first true redneck party... Omfg...

in #party7 years ago (edited)

A few days ago my friends said, "just get in and we will go to this pig roast. My brother in law is playing there." I said ok, since I knew him and I'd probably know more people there...

I guess I was totally wrong. I only knew a handful of people there. I was watching this guy in a truck and he was stuck in mud to his frame. I didn't think he could have gotten it out. Again, I was wrong. Here comes this backhoe to the rescue. They got him out and everyone was cheering.

He gets back in to the truck and goes through the mud again. And he got stuck. Many trucks were doing this and they too got stuck, but a Jeep made it. Hehe.

They cut the head from the pig and just sat it on a log. I do think I was hearing banjo music from the woods at this point.

The evening ended with a bang. Fireworks that lasted for 45 minutes....

All in all, it was fun and I sure learned a few things that night... Stay out of the woods

Thanks for reading.

Thanks, I had no idea what kind of party it was going to be :)

Oh my, old memories. Lived in Texas for many years... went to a few parties like that; saw a few things I didn't believe existed. Ate BBQ'd rattlesnake. Watched people drink, make lots of noise and consume immense amounts of fossil fuels... while going nowhere. It was an All-American thing!

=^..^=

Nice bbq rattler.... Not that extreme, but lots of beerz....

Well, what can I say. It looks like a redneck party.

We aim to please and bring out the strange... Lol
