Yes, I've definitely noticed the very different attitudes to game play. It was what related to the disagreement I had with the guild. What I'm learning is to be respectful to other people's game style. I will refer to how-to's only when I have no other choice. I go with Lazy and Luck first. ;)

crankyoldwoman has given me the experience of in-game consequences to my choices, and it's what everyone has warned me about. Especially as I've flittered from skill to skill trying a bit of everything. I see it as part of the game. If you have time in between all your projects, you should play too!

Thanks for the comment. <3

I liked Diablo II and III as well as Torchlight 2 (I played them several (100+) hours a few years ago, it was fun), so it seems that I will also like Path of Exile.

Oh, then you will definitely enjoy PoE. A lot of diablo players and almost everyone tells me that PoE is the more complicated game. There is so much to do and to learn. And with the leagues, you essentially test what you have learnt on an even playing field. It doesn't hurt to download it and give it a quick trial. You could then go into Matt's 24 hr Hardcore race for fun! @supersoju is ex-gamer and she picked it up amazingly fast, and unlike me, she has had NO help. lol
