Disclaimer: I'm no researcher or expert so I will not provide proof to what I'm saying but rather by using experiences that I've collected in my life. Hopefully it'll be enough to relate to some of your experiences so that I may earn your trust to be in the position to empower you, the person who reads this.
First, I'll briefly talk about what IQ is in my opinion, and 2ndly, why it matters in the bigger scheme of things other than just making you feel good (or bad) about yourself. 3rdly, I'll tell you how you can INSTANTLY develop it by simply sharing with you a basic concept that you already kinda know but was not really told was worthwhile.
So let us begin. What is IQ, or Intelligence Quotient rather? Without referencing a dictionary, it simply tells you how smart/intelligent a person is. By this, I mean the ability to analyze and solve/figure something out and obviously, the quicker the better. Contrarily, it is not the ability to know a bunch of useless facts such as all the previous presidents of the united states nor the year of any event in history. To me, these are useless facts and doesn't mean much other than impressing others that may care about it.
Okay, now that we're on the same page about the gist of intelligence, how can you benefit from higher intelligence? Like I've stated above, your intelligence level dictates your ability to overcome problems / puzzles that you encounter. The higher your level of intelligence, the more difficult a problem you're able to unravel. In experiencing life, if you think about it, everything you desire that you don't already have (experiences, titles, and things) can be presented in the form of a puzzle. These things becomes easily attainable if you can crack its patterns.
For example, if you wanted a successful long term marriage, you'll need to discover the pattern to a strong marital relationship. Likewise, if you wanted to be rich, you'll need to discover the pattern of becoming rich. If you want to learn a lot of languages, understanding the patterns of the language will make this a lot easier. This pattern, or some can call it rhythm or even frequencies, is also relevant towards the understanding of math, music, all the way to becoming a better athlete. This applies to everything and really is nothing new when you think about it. Everything we learn is through a pattern of some sort like math when we were taught the pattern of arithmetic. It's simply believing that it exists first that really allows you to recognize it as well as developing it, assuming you don't already possess those qualities or assets through your family's pedigree. So once your IQ develops, you naturally solve problems easier.
Now that we know what IQ is and why it's important, here's a concept that I'll share with you to help you instantly expand on this powerful 2-letter acronym called IQ: UNIVERSAL PATTERN RECOGNITION. Patterns exist everywhere in nature, something that the average folks haven't been told but seers and sages and TRUE non-western scholars (western systems I believe was designed to keep the masses from recognizing these interrelated patterns) throughout life had already known. Galileo and many other astronomers have looked at the stars to uncover the patterns that exists in our universe to predict weather pattern, eclipses and what not way into the future. DaVinci analyzed our body and was able to detect patterns similar to those in the stars and come up with quite a bit of inventions in his days. Beethoven and other music savants saw these patterns in musical notes; Freud saw it in personalities, etc. So simply believing that patterns exist in everything and continually inquiring about universal patterns and what it means will naturally help your mind expand to its existence as well as the treasures waiting to be unlocked (i.e. skills, knowledge, wealth, etc.).
And to get you started, here's a pattern for you. We have 5 fingers, 5 toes, 5 limbs (head, 2 arms, 2 legs), you cut up a banana, pear, and lots of other fruits, you'll see 5 lines from the center. Star fish has 5 limbs, we have 5 personality traits, etc. There's a bunch of things that relate to this pattern of 5. From understanding this, it made me question why we've been broken down to the pattern of 4 and 7 in a lot of areas in our lives? 4 corners in squares, 4 seasons, 4 limbs, 4 wheels, 4 player board games, etc. 7 days of the week; 7 musical notes in our scale; etc. This also made me question things like why we have 365 days instead of 360 days? Why other patterns that have little to no connection to nature's patterns that leaves us quite clueless to how they work? I truly believe it's up to us to keep inquiring about the patterns that pervades throughout our universe (simply by asking our minds) and slowly our mind will become more and more aware of it and naturally your IQ will expand rather rapidly. Once I had discovered this and kept thinking about patterns, my IQ jumped 50% within several months. My language learning ability as well as my appetite for learning in general had shot up from the perspective of patterns. As well, my wealth energy for money too had developed and yours can easily as well, irregardless of where your relative position is in life. Don't take my word for it. Take a "free IQ test" (google it) and come back a few months later to try it again and you'll too see for yourself how real the understanding of patterns can benefit your IQ and overall learning aptitude & appetite so that you may continually develop your mind throughout your life rather than being stuck in a life of routine and stagnancy.
I hope you found this post useful and whether it does or not, please feel free to share your thoughts as I'm always seeking to connect with others on this subject. Also, it's also fun to support this steemit system and to collect steem credits as well! =)
Thank You and I wish you all a fruitful life!
P.S. From learning such patterns, I've also discovered that we truly are ambidextrous by nature. We were conditioned to believe that we're either right or left hand dominant and it's so crazy to think that we believed it our entire lives. Also, the idea of being able to use our eyes independent became fathomable to me. Likewise, even things such as staring at the sun will burn a hole through your eyes now that I've done it many times (start with small exercises and develop it over time). All these things may sound futile to learn but when you look at it from a perspective of nervous system, the more of them that are used, the more interconnected we are as a whole and the more holistic we become hence activating more parts of our brains. To think that we're only utilizing 10% or less of our minds is already an indication that we truly have so much more to learn and if the current system isn't teaching us this either knowingly or unknowingly, can we really doubt what is really true when only 10% of our brains is activated? To me, any system that is only 10% efficient is only 10% trust worthy. Hence, look elsewhere to learn and question everything you think you already know because as innocent as they are, they can easily disallow you to see other patterns that are far more beneficial to your life.
