I have always considered myself fairly safe with these things because I started off in Steemit coming from cryptocurrency where I use a hardware wallet to protect my private keys. I was never really comfortable with having to enter the Steemit keys so often. The various ones make it quite confusing. I see the various keys as sort of like API permissions with private keys.
