They are the front lines, I have sent them money for years, and they are VERY stingy with it! I sent them ten tablets a couple of years ago, and they set up a computer lab with them!

They have the only elementary school with a computer lab! If he did not pull in so many Orphans, he would be making money, but he is always close to the financial edge, because every time he get a nickel to rub against a dime, he goes out, and rescues another Orphan.
This is truly GOD's front line, and life and death for these kids! I will continue to send them money, and he will keep feeding and educating them!
Thanks for the reply! I was hoping to send the monthly money by way of steem dollars, but things are a little volatile right now.

These kids are so adorable! Thank you for sending me the photo! I see that you are passionate about this project and I understand why! He has a great impact on their lives and he absolutely deserve some support! Is this guy local or is he taking part in a bigger international project?
With my husband we support a project in Uganda for many years already. They do similar activities like the project that you nominated. There were rebels in Uganda who killed many people and too many kids became orphans overnight. This project provides them with a shelter and schooling as well. Recently they even supported two kids with their university expenses. We send money directly to them and we receive kind of a magazine on a quarterly basis showing what they've done with our donation.
There are so many good people in the world. It always warms my heart to hear about this kind of projects :)
He is local, and has very little help. I do what I can, but they are always running close! In Kenya, orphans are written off, because statistically, they will starve anyway, so they do not waste their limited education money on them.
This MAN Has a Godly Heart, and named the school after his Father, who bought this land to build a school! He has done this to honor his Father; and to please his Heavenly Father! I feel Honored to be a part of it! He has Never asked me for money, but GOD told me to send it!
I have a little girl in Eithiopia by Addis Abba; I support through World Vision! My Son calls her my Rent A Kid....

You have a golden heart. I always feel inspired to meet people like you. I have also a little girl but in India :) It's SO nice to talk to a like-minded person :)
I didn't know it was so bad in Kenya. I knew there were issues as I was working with Kenyans but I didn't know it was so bad in regards to education.
It's amazing how those people do so much to help others even though they don't have much themselves. So many people from developed countries should learn from them..
When she was 6, I found her picture, and she so obviously did NOT want her picture taken! My Wife doesn't like her picture taken either, so she was a Kindred spirit. We started to support her that day, and she is 19 now.
Kenya has real problems right now in money for education. They took the hard stand that excluded Orphans, which is appalling! They are also having problems with tribal to tribal violence.
They are good people in Kenya, for certain! I like their work ethic.
He certainly has a burden for orphans! He is literally keeping them alive. He arranged with his church to feed them on the weekends, so they get one meal a day, every day!

That is now a long time that you support her. Have you ever met her? It's great what you're doing :)
I find it very difficult to understand why Orphans should be discriminated (That is the best word that I know for this but I'm not sure if it's correct in this content). They are those who should be helped. They don't have parents to take care of them so other people should do it. Kids are not to blame for losing their parents. The world is sometimes such a bad place to be..
What a good heart he has! One meal doesn't sound like a lot but it's better than nothing and I'm sure they are very happy with that :)
She has grown up to be a beautiful Woman! Last year I sent cash for a dowry for her, since I can't go there for her wedding when she gets married!
The orphans seldom live to adulthood, so they save their money, and plan for them to die, uneducated! Pretty cold blooded; but then they are politicians....
The one meal a day, is enough to keep them alive, and in school! His local church feeds these children at that church, on the weekends. So he has arranged for them to eat one meal a day, seven days a week! And they are still alive!
He doesn't think he is special!
