A full post isn't even really needed, but enough information as to what is covered. I've seen some people who just post their video with no information assuming people should just watch it. That makes no sense whatsoever.
To get me to watch a video you need to make me want to invest that time. I can read SO much faster then anyone can talk in a video so personally the information better be something I really want to know or video just isn't of interest to me. But I know many love video so going after those people is smart. Just give enough details that someone understands why they want to watch the video.
I totally agree. We were excited to start posting on Dtube because the videos came out as an actual post on Steem. Granted, on the short Snaps I do daily, I don't really want to write much except just enough to tell others what it is about. However, the real meat and potato videos I wanted to make sure that there was an independent post because often the Dtube video goes away after a time. That just junks up the blockchain and wastes everyone's time.
