A couple changes this week including a change in the Judges. @energyaddict22 has been having great success with his business and needs to step back from being a Judge, but promises to visit entries and lend support with his votes.
With the loss of @energyaddict22 I kind of realized this might be a great opportunity to expose our contest to some people of influence who are all about making steemit grow. At the same time as they are exposed to @pifc hopefully we can in return take a look at whatever projects these great steemians are running creating a win-win for all involved!
The idea will be to find influencers who are running a project or contest that is designed to help steemit and it's users in some way. This week's Guest Judge runs @steem-bounty and the witness account "steem-bounty". He has been a friend to the Curation Contest giving some very critical votes during weeks where there wasn't sponsorship support needed to cover prizes. Those votes helped keep this project alive and running.
Second small change going forward. It has been mentioned to me on discord and on a couple older posts that there ends up being to much clutter on the contest page and it gets hard to find the entry posts. We are now going to ask people to try and keep comments to being related to the contest and entries only. Feel free to leave short comments related to someone's entry, it's not that we want to remove interaction. We just don't need comments promoting other services, contests, or a long conversation back and forth with someone (yes I'm guilty too!) making it harder for people to find the actual entry comments which we all want to upvote to reward those taking the time to enter the contest.This week @knircky will be our first "Guest Judge" and we are very excited to have him helping out this week!

What is the Pay It Forward Curation Contest?
The Curation Contest is here to allow Community Minded Steemians the opportunity feature 2 great blog posts written by Level 55 and below Steemians. To do this you will write a single curation style blog post like this entry by @viking-ventures from week 16 which won a Judges Choice Award.
Contest Date Range
This contest run from Now until 08/11/18 at 11:59pm CST (USA, Chicago). The winners will be announced on Wednesday 08/15/18 at 12:01am
Week 19 Rules (No Changes)
For week 19 you will need a curation style entry that includes 2 High Quality Original Content Blog Posts from Steemians with a reputation score of 55 or under.
- Curation Style Post of 2 Bloggers who are posting Quality Original Content
- Link to 1 recent blog post per featured blogger. Keep in mind that many will follow this link and upvote so pick a post that isn't close to payout!
- Include a link to this contest in your entry post
- The 2 bloggers you curate need to be rank 55 or below
- You need to comment on this post with a link to your post, this is how I track everything!

We are looking for Quality Original Content. We want to see no less then 200 words of original written content. So a single photo is fine as long as there is 200 words with it. 200 words is about 12 lines of content. Posts from Parley and dmania are not acceptable.

This week at least 14 winners are going to get a sponsorship for #steembasicincome!

What is a bounty exactly?
A bounty is money sent to a post to be distributed to the users commenting on it. It provides a way to reward users directly and works in addition to the steem/sbd they receive from the blockchain. It works independently of SteemPower.
You create a bounty by sending any amount of sbd/steem to @steem-bounty together with a post-url in the memo.
How can I earn a bounty Users are then competing for the bounty by writing their answers to the post in comments that will achieve upvotes from the community and especially the bounty creator. The money of the bounty gets distributed to all top level comments of the post at the same time when the post is paid out (7 Days after it was written). How much everyone gets depends on the votes the comments received. The sender of the bounties votes are weighted higher so that she decideds where 80% of the bounty money goes and all other votes determine the rest.@pifc has set 2.000 SBD bounty on this post!@steem-bounty does all of this for you automatically. You can use this service to automatically pay out a challenge, ask a hard question or simply to reward the people that interact with you.
