Steemains! You have had your panties in a bunch ever since the recent HardFork 19. Everyone was overwhelmed with the extra payouts, but that was short lived with the reward pool quickly dissipating....
I think everything is fine with the recent HARDFORK. Even though everyone is getting less payouts, this is only going to be short lived!
I believe if this platform will ever grow to compete against facebook/Instagram we have to keep the self voting and payouts how they are....Not everyone is going to be a "blogger" on the Steemit platform. Some people are on facebook just love to comment and like other peoples stuff. Now if we get those users to switch to Steemit that would be great! Even if they want to upvote themselves with their 1 Steem power they received when they sign up...Is that really a big deal? At least they aren't spending their free time on facebook.com or Instagram. This is growing the Steemit platform when they are on steemit.com...Plus If they buy steempower then that is even better win for everyone.
Our goal as Steemians should be getting people away from facebook, and to replace it with Steemit....We shouldn't worry about the money so much....The money will come family when Steemit takes more market share from Facebook/Instagram.

Well said. I think Steemit could grow huge. It is up to people on Steemit now to spread the word and bring new users. The revolution is just beginning.
