Investors in the crypto market have been holding out this false hope that crypto currencies were going to bring down fiat and banks. The smart investment, at least in the short-term, is to invest in the projects that will integrate crypto's to the current financial system. Payment processors, banks, governments, and retailers are all going to adapt the technology so the technology does not leave them in the past. Eventually we will be a cashless world, on a single currency, so blockchain seems like the technology to make that happen.
