We have a right to free speech, but with consequences.
For example, if you walk up to some violent looking gangster and tell him he smells bad, you may experience the consequences of your free speech.
Unfortunately, Political Correctness is something entirely different. It is not individual to individual. It is individual to group. It is also most often used to silence people who have different opinions. This needs to be stopped. For better to worse and somewhat ironically, due to hate speech laws, a lot of the stupidity is backfiring against the maniacs who ignored reason to create such convoluted laws based on their group-think doctrines and agendas.
