5 Reasons Why PC Gaming Is Better Than Console Gaming?

PC Gaming Is Better Than Console Gaming.

Here Are Some Reasons Behind Why PC Gaming Is Better.

1) Cheap Games

PC gaming platforms like Steam and Origin are much quicker to offer sales and discounts than their console counterparts. I can buy "Tomb Raider" on Steam for $19.99, while the Xbox Live store only offers the "Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition" for $29.99.
The ability to run a full desktop operating system also makes PCs more versatile than a console. For example, you can do some work using Microsoft Office on a PC, and you can run other software that's simply not available on consoles. So, PCs do offer more value than consoles in that respect.

2) Better Framerates And Better Hardware.

Many console gamers argue that the substance of the game trumps how it looks; that is, the story is more worthwhile than the graphics. There's a reason that you choose a Ferrari over a Ford Focus, though, and that's because looks and performance both matter. Having a better "motor" means your trip is going to be much more enjoyable. In a lot of ways, comparing a PC to a console is like comparing a Ferrari to a Ford Focus.

3) Multiplayer.

PCs have a distinct advantage in online multiplayer. In order to play PS4 or Xbox One games online, players have to subscribe to Sony's or Microsoft’s premium online services: PlayStation Plus or Xbox Live Gold, respectively. These tend to cost about $60 per year — or more, if you pay monthly. While Plus and Gold include some extra perks, like cloud storage and a rotating selection of games, it's still a cost that's totally foreign to PC gamers. Unless you're dealing with a game that charges subscription fees, like Final Fantasy XIV, playing online with friends (and enemies) is almost always free on PC.

4) Better Graphics

Video games on the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 look very good — certainly much better than their predecessors, the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. It's because Microsoft and Sony are using much newer, more powerful components for their new consoles.
But the components can only be so good, otherwise the console becomes prohibitively expensive for the average person. When Sony announced the $500 price of the PlayStation 3, people in the audience gasped. So, there's a limit to even a next-gen console's graphical capabilities, even though game developers can design games that far exceed those capabilities.
Of course, it depends on how powerful your PC is, but you don't need a top-of-the line $3,000 gaming rig to run games at higher graphics than consoles can handle. A $400 computer can easily equal or outperform even the Xbox One or PS4.

5) Mods

Others like the "mods" they can easily add to their PC games — player-created derivations of the base game — whereas console versions of games rarely get mod support. There's also a vast library of games that aren't available on consoles, like the hugely popular "League of Legends."

I'm surprised you haven't had some comments from the console lot.

I love PC personally, don't think I'll ever switch but I do get a bit jealous of people who play on console because it seems more people I know play online on console compared to PC.
