Yesterday the Defense Information Systems Agency made a multiple award worth $17 billion to a group of 20 companies for IT services. This was a small business set-aside suite and total of 95 proposals were submitted to the Federal Business Opportunities website.

All this money spend to protect ,defend and kill others. I have no words . when will people understand that ,to safe a life is more important than to destroy one.
Most people will argue that the money is spent to protect .
I think if people can learn to live together than we can help each other to have a life. Money spent on helping is better than money spent on defending .

My view is that money doesn't need to be spent at all. Government programs like this are the way to justify Keynesian policies to increase spending, based on the belief that it helps the economy. It's also based on the belief that the people won't spend enough to keep the economy healthy so the government needs to ramp spending up. And finally it's based on the fact that certain companies that staff government agencies and committees have positioned themselves with open mouths to receive these fat government worms.
Their is a large possibility the companies are perming the government agents
