Went up to a local animal farm and they had this beautiful peacock. It’s rare to see the peacock with its feathers spread out but if you do it is a beautiful sight.
Luckily for all of you, I was able to take this right as he spread his feathers.
They truly are maginificent animals and I only wish that we could see more of them in the wild rather than at local zoos in cages.
This specific one is located at the top of a large hill next to a restaurant among other birds and animals so there is interaction between them.
I’ve always wondered if there are any other species of peacocks that have different colors?
If so, are they region specific? So far I’ve only seen this color for peacocks. Please let me know if you’ve seen other beautiful colors!

Great job, I saw a white peacock in video sometimes around last year, I can't really remember the month. I think the title of the video is something like this "it's a beautiful day" I will try and search for it on my files if I can still find it their and share it with you.
Peacock used to be beautiful whenever they spread their feathers like that.

I have seen lots of peacocks from a short distance in my hometown in Rajasthan in India. When we were kids we used to chase them hoping to catch a feather . You wake up in the morning with the sound of peacocks. Some people say that peacocks open their feathers and dance when they sense that it is about to rain. Beautiful bird.
