Peerplays (PPY) has been recently added to OpenLedger DEX with no market fees and has a very active PPY/BTS market as shown above. There's also an OPEN.PPY/BTS market on the exchange, but it has much less trading volume and 0.20% market fees. The RuDex gateway supports the deposits and withdraws of Peerplays tokens, which are traded as PPY, not OPEN.PPY. I must emphasize this because there are major differences between the PPY/BTS and OPEN.PPY/BTS markets, such as....
Trade volume:
This is where it gets confusing....
If you purchase OPEN.PPY it’s listed not as "OPEN.PPY", but as a separate “PPY” balance from any PPY deposited via Rudex, which cannot be traded on the larger PPY/BTS market. Conversely, the PPY deposited via Rudex cannot be traded on the smaller OPEN.PPY/BTS market. For example, you could have two different PPY balances on your Bitshares account screen which are not interchangeable between each market.
To avoid all this confusion, I recommend using the PPY/BTS market which doesn’t have market fees and has a much higher trading volume. PPY is one of the top assets on the exchange for volume, however, OPEN.PPY is much further down the list.
I hope this helps clarify things on the exchange!

When I read this article I had to clarify which asset was the most actively traded on open ledger..
