A fountain pen is a part and parcel of our student life. It is divided into two parts. One part is the main body and the other is the cap. It has an ink holder, a mouth, a nip filler and a nip in the main body. It is hollow inside the body. It holds ink. The ink holder is a tube. It supplies ink to the nip. The cap of a fountain pen cover the front side of the body. It protects the nip from sand and dust and from being damaged. The cap can be screwed with the body. There is a clip in the head of the cap. As a ball point pen is easier to use and cheaper to buy. The ordinary user prefer a ball point pen to a fountain pen. In spite of this reality a fountain pen has yet great demand to many learned person for it's quality writing.
