As temperatures rise, formerly frozen landscapes are turning to mud! But here in South Georgia, an island in the South Atlantic, and home to half a million King Penguins, mud is a normal part of their life in the Antarctic summer. Temperatures in South Georgia can get up to 20c on some days from November to March. When the penguins get tired of sloshing around in the mud, they can take a quick dip in the ocean and get clean.
