Penny Stocks Interest

Hi, I'm just a full time worker interested in the potential of the penny stock arena. I've been receiving a boat load of emails from various penny stock promoters advising me to look into investing in these stocks that can be purchased for pennies on the dollar. The more i learn about each stock, the more interested i'm becoming.
With all the hype and sudden parabolic movement of Bitcoin, which most likely minted some new millionaires, I began to feel left out. I mean, i had been hearing about Bitcoin for some years and never knew how to buy it up until recently when a family member told me about coinbase. Prior to buying some fractional bitcoin, i'd experimented with the Robinhood app and made a few dollars in addition to my initial investments. But no windfall yet. lol
Back to those penny stocks. Well, I've been watching a ton of videos on what to look for in a potentially profitable company, when to buy and when to sell. I must say that this is a skill set that does not come over night. If you love to read and have patience, day trading just may be your calling. So what classifies as a Penny Stock? For starters, these companies may or may not be brand new. They may not have a million dollar market cap! They seem to be startup companies with a prototype or finished product they'd like to bring to the masses. Depending on their findings through conducted tests and studies, the next blue chip company could be trading between 0.10-$10
Thoroughly investigate these companies before investing, as risk is a factor especially with penny stocks. I'm learning to look into these companies, leadership, financial backgrounds, work ethic, products and road maps. I'd recently joined my first IPO (Initial Purchase Offering) a new tech sector company called One Stop Solutions because of their strong team and product/service. This company is traded on Nasdaq and the Security and Exchanges Commission approves this company's dealings. Patience and good news hopefully will follow.
So there seems to be plenty of resource material on this subject. I just wanted to share with you my thoughts on Penny stocks. I've heard that with research and timing that, 10x, or even 100x gains were possible with as little as $100. High risk high reward. A bit of advise i was given was, buy the rumor, sell the news.
