It is important to have a good scheme for the pensioners so that they can have a so-called decent lifestyle during their retirement. Malaysia is a country with a very high percentage of working class who are the civil servants. And it also provides an attractive pension scheme that the retirees can depend upon usually after their sixtieth birthday.
However, once a person has been accepted into the pension scheme, it means that the person has logged oneself into a job easily for the next thirty years to be entitled for the full pension. Hence, the good scheme has also become a restriction for the civil servants to change career at any point of their life.
Indeed, life is more than just having a stable job unless it is a lifelong vocation of that person. In a fast-changing society, the successful persons are usually resilient and capable of responding to the changing needs and challenges greater than oneself.
Therefore, the people of the contemporary society must have foresight, rather than looking for stable income and attractive pension scheme while getting ready for their career planning.
今天一个好的养老金制度显然对工作人士非常重要，这样他们才能在退休期间仍然过上所谓体面的生活。马来西亚按照工作人员的比例是一个拥有众多公务员的国家；同时国家也提供了相当有吸引力的公务员退休金制度，因此他们可以在六十岁退休时依赖退休金终老。
然而，一个人只要被接受进入了公务员退休金计划，就意味着该人士已经将自己锁在长达三十年的同样工作直至可以获得每个月全额退休金。显然的，这良好的养老金制度也成为了公务员想要改变事业的一个限制。
的确，生活不仅仅是要拥有稳定的工作，除非那份工作是一个人所清楚的终身事业。在瞬息万变的社会中，作为成功人士通常必须具有弹性，又能够回应持续的变化和超越本身需求的挑战。
生活在今天的社会，人必须具备远见，而不是在进行职业规划时只关注稳定收入和有吸引力的养老金计划。

个人觉得，养老金永远不会足够。通货膨胀的频率比养老金的储蓄涨的快多了。基本上如果一个人从二十岁开始工作，一直到六十岁，四十年储蓄起来的养老金在有规划的节流使用还能挨上八十岁。万一八十岁不死，接下来的日子就可怜了。但，如果养老金是一份基金，好像香港的生果金形式就不同，拿的不多，但是只要不死就还能拿🙂
