Being anonymous is definitely the way to go, I'm not sure what all the fuss about verification is. I get that it could help in the event of plagiarism or accreditation, but there are other ways to do that without putting out your real-life identity for every troll on the internet. Especially in your case considering the very personal things that you have been posting about here.
I prefer to observe people's writing and judge it on it's own merits, not on who someone is or why they wrote it.
