HBD for VOLTs Issue with Mobile Keychain
If you send some HBD to @pepegamex using the User Interface in the game, and you are using a phone or mobile device that has the Mobile Keychain app installed, the HBD does get to pepegamex but the system does not recognize this for some reason.
I still have not looked into this, but I will, ASAP.
In the mean time, it is recommended that you Do Not Use Mobile Keychain to send us HBD for VOLTs.
But if you do send us HBD this way, then please tag @kenny-crane in a reply or post on here and I will look into it and get you the VOLTs you sent HBD for.
VOLT Power (VP) Interest Issue
There was a code error that did not send VP Interest as VOLTs to a player who was entitled to exactly 1 VOLT in the daily interest payment system. It may have (should have) worked if you were getting 2 or more VOLTs of Interest.
In any case, today I fixed the issue (I hope! We'll find out tomorrow night when VP Interest is given again) and I also sent 20 VOLTs to anyone who has any VP in their account. This should more than make up for any under-payments.
Further notice will be given in this blog if there are any further issues.
How to #Play2Earn with PEPE Game
If you play carefully, you can play PEPE Game and Earn HBD without having to ever send us any HBD - after an initial card pack buy.
In case you did not know, PEPE Game is a very simple Trading Card Game similar to #Splinterlands but much easier to play. If you like Splinterlands, you may like PEPE Game. If you have played Splinterlands, you should be able to figure out PEPE Game in a flash!
Like Splinterlands, there is a small buy needed to play and earn. In Splinterlands you have to buy a spell book for $10 before you can battle to earn. In PEPE Game you probably need 2 card packs to start winning battles. Depending on the cards you get, you may be able to earn with just one pack. Or maybe you need 3 at the most.
Two packs can be had for 1000 in-game currency VOLTs (500 each) which can be obtained for 1 HBD which is pegged to $1 and usually is within cents of that.
Once you have your packs and you level up your cards as much as you can, start to play the game!
If you choose, you can Play For Free and Still Earn
Every hour, you can play any Level (1 to 6) in the Demo set of Levels for FREE. If you want to play again after the Free battle it will require 3 VOLTs the first time, then 6 etc. But wait until that hour passes and you'll be able to play for nothing once again!
Also you can play any Level in Adventure 1 every 2 hours for Free. If you play again right away it will require 2 VOLTs the first time, then 4 etc.
In either the Demo or Adventure 1 set of Levels you will earn a random amount between 1 and 6 VOLTs for each Win.
The point is, after you get about 2 packs of cards (3 cards in a pack with 1 being Rare or better), you can play for nothing and still earn VOLTs every hour.
Profit Sharing happens the First Day of every Month
The plan for this is to distribute half the amount above the Goal Amount of HBD every month. The other half stays in the @pepegamex account and that new balance becomes the next month's HBD Goal Amount. On November 1st we will distribute half of the HBD above 100 which was our first Goal Amount.
HBD distributions go to game designer/dev, pepe token creator, and pepe team accounts. No one involved in the creation of PEPE Game has been formally paid anything yet in any kind of crypto or fiat currency. But a lot of time has been invested and some compensation is due.
What do the Players get?
Right now it looks like the Players get gifted battle cards. Details have yet to be finalized.
In the future, some decisions regarding game related matters will be put to a vote by those who own the GOV token. Their vote will be weighted according to how many GOV they have at the time if the vote. Details coming later about this as well.
