"What's a food forest?" you say. It's a garden you plant full of perennial plants that come back year after year and provide food and/or medicine. It's called a forest because - as in a forest - plants of all different heights grow together: ground covers, small plants, large bushes, trees, vines, etc.
This is a tour of our food forest, still in its beginning stages. We started with pecan and apple trees and have added more plants along the way, with plenty of space for much more!!
