community gardens, church grounds, old age homes, schools, there's so much land that could be utilized to offer nourishment and also empower and educate people. I keep reading about how food banks are struggling and yet there are beautiful, simple options where everyone benefits. Love your vision and passion!

Oh don't get me started on old age homes lol
This'd be the start of a big paradigm shift for sure. If people would take some permaculture principles to heart, the world would definitely be better off.

Imagine raised beds that seniors could stand at or sit in chairs and dig in the dirt - how much healthier would that be that being stuck inside or charted to freaking casinos and other indoor facilities for their weekly day trip? What's the aversion to creating healthier people? I just don't get it.
I get so mad when I see all of these ugly prison like complexes that they pack kids and old people into but we keep going along with it and I suppose there lies the problem.
I think this was a great post and I hope you'll keep exploring this and putting it out there!
