As of lately I've been changing my life goals from being overly concern about monetary things, working 16 hours a day to achieving something more and making up for lost time. I'm not just talking about traveling the world with my beautiful wife but to achieve one of the many things I've always wanted to be. A tri-athlete. An IRONMAN!!! I'm now in the process of trying marathons, working out and trying my hardest to gain mental fortitude. I believe it will help me achieve many more goals down the road. To me an Ironman Athlete is an individual who has perfected themselves both physically and mentally. It is all I've ever wanted and I won't stop until I'm there.

Awesome, I wish you the best of luck! I myself have done a lot of long distance cycle events, and have contemplated going down the triathlon route, just haven't bit the bullet yet!
Any advice on bicycling? Does a high expensive bike really make a large difference?
Hello everyone, I'm not the best writer and would welcome any advice. Thank you all for taking the time to read my post. Hope you all well today.
Awesome! I think physical development is more or less the foundation of so many other endeavors. You're working on the machine that makes everything else possible. The immediate results for presence of mind, happiness, mood, attitude, focus, endurance etc that you get from physical training, I don't think you can get the equivalent "bang for you buck" doing anything else. You might consider taking us along on your journey. I think it would be enjoyable to follow and perhaps inspirational for others to do for themselves. Good luck to you and welcome to Steemit.
I couldn't agree with you more! And thank you for the advice I certainly will do my best.
