So this is a decent picture of Doomlazer, my goliath bird eater tarantula. I worked in a pet store for a while and enjoyed the creepy crawly section. I have a decent wealth of knowledge for most pets if anyone has any questions.

I really just like showing her off, very photogenic. And aggressive. She is not for petting.

She does look very photogenic! I think spiders are interesting but I don't know too much. What does she eat and how often?

Depends on when her next molt is and whether i am feeding store bought crickets or wild. If i feed wild bugs they tend to be fatty (good fatty) so i dont have to feed as many. But right now due to the slight chill at night i am still buying my crickets, 1 dozen every 4 days or so, depending on how long they last in her cage. Ive seen her take 3 days to kill them, ive also seen 3 hours.
Probably going to have to move on to the occasional small mouse or sone type of large bug. When things go into that cage it turns into Thunderdome.

I found a lot of that to be adorable, haha! That is interesting that she sometimes kills faster than other times. And woah, a large bug or mouse? Do you know about how big she is?

Around 4 inches or so. But once she molts I'll have a better judgement, provided she doesn't destroy her molt this time.

Doomlazer is a hateful, fuzzy, spindly, ball of fury. If I had a spirit animal I would claim her.

She is epic. I'm hoping she doesnt hate stomp her next molt so i can actually inspect it this time. Little fang turd of a spider haha. Emphasis on fang.
