OMG! They used this kind of reference to black people in Cuba from the beginning of the 19s until the Revolution(1959) time when everybody start to be the same (kind of). It is so strange to read that some people still use it. Well maybe old people could use it sometime in Cuba at the moment, but in reality no one really cares about colors anymore, we are a very mixed population ... Me for example, I am not white, but also not black and I have a bit of chinesse and german in my family ... so no KKK or Black panthers for me :P

When they stop think about it like it is bad or good to have a different color, phisical things you can not change. In Cuba we are all cubans independent of the color of the skin, hair, eyes or whatever ....
But instead, for what I see in USA or places like that they insist in separate everybody in colors, races, sexual gender (full crazy this part) and so on... of course, "divide and conquer", "is more easy to control separated people" and so on. People tend to forget we are first of all humans!
