Another batch of Pfizer documents was released by the United States Food and Drug Administration (FDA) on April 1, 2022. The data shows that Pfizer and the FDA knew that people of all ages experienced suppression of immune function for a week after the first dose.

A Texan court ordered that the FDA release the documents used by the FDA to give emergency use authorisation for the Pfizer vaccine. The FDA asked if these documents could be kept hidden until 2076 but by August all will have been shared.

The upshot of the analysis was that mRNA vaccines were associated with an absolute risk increase of serious adverse events of 12.5 per 10,000 vaccinated people (95% CI 2.1 to 22.9) over placebo.
Put another way, 1 in 800 people experienced a serious adverse event following either one of the mRNA vaccines (95% CI: 437 to 4762).
