Galatians 5:25 (KJV), If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.
LIVING IN AND BY THE SPIRIT
Fellowship with God is in the spirit. The soul and the body are simply parts of you that aid this fellowship; they are not the central entities by which you relate with Him.
Life may get busy: the demands of work, ministry, school or marriage have the tendency to occupy both your mind and body. But, this should not prevent constant communion with God.
How then can you keep in continuous fellowship with God?
You do this by training your spirit to function in the realm of God even when your body and soul are engaged. This comes by meditation in the word.
When you do so, you will always be tuned to receive instruction from Him.
You won't need to first pray for hours to open blind eyes, heal broken bones or to prophesy. You can do all this at any time and in any place because you are alive unto God.
FURTHER STUDY: Romans 8:13, Ephesians 6:18
GOLDEN NUGGET: Train your spirit to function in the realm of God even when your body and soul are engaged. This comes by meditation in the word.
PRAYER: Father, I thank you for the grace by which I am constantly in fellowship with you. I am alive unto you because I have learned how to live a yielded life. In every place, state and time, my spirit is ready to receive your instructions. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Good read. Yes, being in communication with God isn't intended to be at certain times but in all times. He lives in us so He is with us wherever and whatever we are doing.
