Apostle Grace Lubega
Ephesians 3:19(AMP); [That you may really come] to know [practically, through experience for yourselves] the love of Christ, which far surpasses mere knowledge [without experience]; that you may be filled [through all your being] unto all the fullness of God [may have the richest measure of the divine Presence, and become a body wholly filled and flooded with God Himself]!
THE LOVE WALK
Christianity is a life of spiritual experiences.
However, it is possible to have knowledge and not walk in the experiences of the same.
Our theme scripture calls this “mere knowledge.”
It is mere knowledge (void of experiences) because it is not grounded in love.
Love is constant in every dimension of the Spirit, because it is the highest revelation of the person of God.
As you grow and function in these dimensions of the Spirit, it is important that you be perfected in the love of God.
If you are not, then you cannot have access to certain places in God: there are dimensions you will not reach because those dimensions in themselves are for men who have fully understood that God is love (1 John 4:8).
Your every increase in knowledge is weighed by the standard of love.
You may know the foundations of the earth and the positioning of its cornerstone, the path of light and the place of darkness, the gates of death and the doors of its shadow, the ordinances of heaven and their dominion on the earth, the movements of the winds of the Spirit or the influence and direction of all the constellations.
But 1 Corinthians 13:2 says, “Though I understand all mysteries and have all knowledge yet have no charity, then I am nothing.” (1 Corinthians 13:2).
FURTHER STUDY: 1 Corinthians 13, 1 John 4:8
GOLDEN NUGGET: Love is constant in every dimension of the Spirit, because it is the highest revelation of the person of God.
PRAYER: Father, I thank you for the revelation of your love. Even as I grow in knowledge and how to function in the dimensions of the spirit, I am perfected in your love. I can never know too much to love. In Jesus' name. Amen.
