I actually started watching The Dark Crystal on Netflix a couple of days ago....
Still need to make up my mind about whether I like it a lot, or just a little 😉
I do agree they didn't overdo it modernizing the characters.
They have some of the puppets at the Center for Puppetry Arts here in Atlanta, and I've gone through the exhibit multiple times and still feel awe every time I go through.
It's tough to beat the original, but I'm digging it so far. We'll see how they carry it through to the finish. Normally we'll blaze right through a series, but still trying to draw this one out and not watch it all at once to savor the nostalgia. :)
