Promoting Cebu Philippines: A Brief Introduction of Fort San Pedro

On April 7, 1521, the Spaniards arrived on the coast of the Philippines, which marked the beginning of Spanish colonization.

Fuerza de San Pedro or most commonly called Cebu Fort San Pedro, is a military defense structure that was built during the early times of the Spanish era.

Its area is about 2,050 square meters; the walls are 20 feet high, 8 feet thick and the towers are also 30 feet high. It has a triangular in shape, one facing at the City and the other two are facing toward the sea.

It also has 14 mounted cannons which are still in each respective places.
