It is great to discover new adventures, and also to be get connected to people on such places.
I am a traveler from the hills and I love to travel so much 😁,
so I will share to all of us, not only in the Philippines but also to the whole world, some places here in Bukidnon that were filled with much beauty and peace.

MONASTERY OF THE TRANSFIGURATION IN BUKIDNON

The beautiful and cool architecture, fresh air and the peace on every corner of this place gives you a relaxing and soothing feeling. This what we locally called "Monastery" is can be found 5 kilometers south from the heart of Malaybalay City.

It held regular masses on Sundays and holidays and it has a Retreat House where you can stay there and helps you uplift your inner peace. Also one of the remarkable things that you can find here is the "Monk's Blend". It is a coffee produce, grown and processed by the Benedictine Monks.

MOUNT KITANGLAD

Climbing there is one of the stuffs on my checklist. (I can't find any schedule to climb due to studies hahahaha πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚) By the way,
Mount Kitanglad is an inactive volcano located in the Kitanglad Mountain Range in Bukidnon province on Mindanao island. It is the fourth highest mountain in the Philippines and has an approximate height of 2,899 meters. It is located between Malaybalay City and the municipalities of Lantapan, Impasugong, Sumilao, and Libona.

Once I get there I will blog it here! hahaha 😁😁

The name "Kitanglad" was derived from a legend that there was once a great flood that submerged the native lands of Bukidnon and only the tip of the mountain, the size of a "tanglad" (lemon grass), remained visible ("kita" in Visayan). It is considered as an ancestral domain of several old cultural communities like the Bukidnons, Higaonons and Talaandigs. (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mount_Kitanglad)

LAKE APO

How I wish I was not on a date when my classmate and teacher went there hahaha πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ™ˆπŸ™ˆπŸ™ˆ, anyways
Lake Apo is a crater lake in Barangay Guinoyoran in the city of Valencia in Bukidnon province in the Philippines. It is located in a hilly area about 640 metres (2,100 ft) in elevation, about 11 kilometres (6.8 mi) WSW of the city poblacion (town center). Lake Apo was awarded the cleanest inland body of water in Northern Mindanao Region (Region X) in the late 1990s. The green body of water has an estimated area of 24 hectares (59 acres) with maximum depths reaching up to 26 m (85 ft).
