Tikling Island, Philippines
Tikling Island is located in Matnog, Sorsogon, along with other equally beautiful islands and beaches including the relatively more popular Subic Beach. Tikling Island is about 30 minutes ride by outrigger boat from Matnog Port and about 10 minutes away from Subic Beach.
Island is unique, the sand is glittery pink of Subic Beach instead white brown and it's a very clear water.
A small beach with some folks living around. It has a white sand but sharp stones would really hurt you if you are not careful. Then we went to Jualag fish sanctuary and lastly to Subic beach. The beach is crowded by both people and boats. The pinkish sand they claim is not actually visible and you have to really make yourself bieve that it exists. The sand is not as fine as you think. Sharp stones and weeds. But the water is clear blue and green. Its also cold even we were swimming at peak noon. Pricey old and cheap designs of cottages.
