Todays ULOG is a view of The Davao Crocodile Farm has alot more animals than just crocodiles!
These colorful birds look neat but can be dangerous so donot piss them off.
There were more birds than anything here it seemed...until we found the crocodiles later.
They have Lions...
Tigers....
& bearcats oh my...
This Orangatang had fun playing games with me, he would lower this rope until I reached for it and then he would pull it out of my reach and kept repeating.

Snakes are cool to see but only make a good pet for very few.
Colorful snakes even through Dirty Glass.
Creepy hide in some water snake... imagine if you were swimming and you felt this guy sliver across your leg?
Cave dwelling snake... what if you were sleeping in your tent and wake up with a cuddler?
Big ass snakes... What if you found one of these in your car? Would you crash or?

It is not camera shy or is very hungry.

The menu at the crocodile farm restaurant was interesting. (I had the crocodile steak & it was very tough but tasty)
Also in the restaurant a few nice decorations for picture taking with the wife.

& look who was standing out front as we came in! Everything I tried talking about I felt ignored as if I were talking to a cardboard cutout...
& lastly some hand made souveniers for me.

That bird in the first picture is a cassowary, and yes, it is very dangerous creature when provoked. The inner toes of its feet have 4-inch-long claw that it uses for stabbing, and many natives of New Guinea have been eviscerated by them.
That white and brown bird-of-prey is a Brahminy kite. And those big snakes are Burmese pythons.
I'm so envious of your experience, and good thing we have a zoo here near Manila, the Avilon Zoo, where we can also see the same kind of creatures too.
