Another day has passed, it’s 6:30 pm Manila time and class is over. Now its time to manually encode the student’s grades on report cards. Parents are going to pick them up tomorrow and for sure lots of questions will be asked again on why their children’s grades dipped down low or whatever, no problem about that though as I’m always prepared to show my computations. I started to get used to it when I came to the city. Most of the parents here are complaining more than the parents in the province. Maybe because parents of Mangyan students do not really care about their student’s school matters.
I have been working in Manila for like A year and a half now. I’m so lucky I was transferred quickly to be with my wife. In the province its quite hard to request to be transferred to a different school especially to a different division. What’s good about teaching in the city is the classes only runs for half day, due to classroom availability unlike in the province that classes starts from morning down until the afternoon. Atleast in here I get to spend more time at home for my paper works.
Tomorrow is Friday and i’m sure all of us are looking forward for the weekend when we spend family time and nap time 😊
