Last March 23, 2018 was the last day of our clearance day. I felt pressured because I had to do a lot of catching up.
After a tiring day at school, I decided to go home early instead of joining my friends to eat at McDonald's. On my way home, I saw a beggar. He has a disability. His legs are small. And you can tell that he can not walk. I already passed him but I heard him say " Sige na 'teh, pangkain lang." So I looked back and opened my wallet. I only have 20PHP bill and 3PHP coins. The 20php bill is my pamasahe. So I only have 3php to spare. I gave him the coins and said "Sorry kuya wala eh." He thanked me and gave me the most beautiful smile I have ever seen. After seeing that smile, all the bad vibes I felt was gone.
Every time I go to that area, I always look for him because I want to buy him food. But I don't see him there anymore. I hope he's fine and he's safe.
I learned that we should be more appreciative even at the smallest things. And we should not complain. Instead, be thankful for what we have. Because we are so lucky to have the things that others like kuya doesn't have. We are lucky to have a shelter and a family.
Thank you for reading! Have a nice day and God bless everyone. 💖
