We also have those in South Florida. We call them Cane or Bufo toads, which is just short for their former scientific name "Bufo marinus". Big suckers. Unfortunately they are also an invasive species over here and are toxic for dogs (which may accidentally lick and/or bite them around homes outside.) I did not know that they were so photogenic though!
