Have you ever wondered what Filipinos use to commute?
The only train you can find in the whole Philippines is in Manila.
Buses are rare.
Then there are the famous Jeepneys.
But my personal favorite are the Tricycles.
They are actually motorcycles with a sidecar and they can transport up to 8 persons (what is quite uncomfortable sometimes). You can find them everywhere in the Philippines but they look different on each island. I am using a Tricycle everyday in coming home from my work. It's just 8 Pesos (15cent) for a 20 minutes ride - amazing!

Mann kann sie zwar überall auf den Philippinen finden, aber sie sehen auf jeder Insel anders aus. Ich benutze jeden Tag ein Tricycle, um von meiner Arbeit nach Hause zu kommen. Es kostet nur 8 Pesos (15cent) für eine 20-minütige Fahrt - unglaublich!

When I was in my elementary and high school, I always took the tricycle. :D you're living a life like locals. That's a good thing. ^^
