The last day of our Baguio trip was tight, we planned to go to a lot of places. At 1st, we grabbed a "Strawberry Taho" or Soft Tofu with Strawberry Flavoring at the Mines View Park.
Then for lunch, we went to a nice cafe.
Chocolate de Batirol -
Igorot Park, Camp John Hay, Baguio, 2600 Benguet, Philippines
Here we tried a few of their Dishes which taste awesome, I was craving for more but decided not to because we plan to eat other food along the way. I recommend that you guys go here. The place is very open to nature but still decent.
Sarciadong Tilapia
Our main dish for our lunch. It is fried fish covered in thick sauce with egg and tomatoes.
Suman sa Lihia
It's a kind of sticky rice desert or snack.
Turon de Langka
A snack/dessert made from Jackfruit wrapped in lumpia wrapper, drizzeled with chocolate syrup.
After lunch, continued to stroll and passed by this famous hunted house in Bagiuo City.
Laperal White House -
Leonard Wood Rd, Baguio, Benguet, Philippines
According to wikipedia, The house was built in the 1930s and designed in Victorian style. During World War II, the house was occupied by Japanese soldiers and was used as a garrison. The troops reportedly raped women, tortured and killed suspected spies working for the United States and their allies.
In 2013, the house was transformed into a Bamboo Foundation museum where Filipino artworks based on bamboo and wood.
Cafe De Angelo -
54 Chapis Village, Marcos Highway 2600 Baguio City
Was our Dinner destination, this place is an intimate, simple design shop which only caters to a few groups of people and I think a nice place for couples to dine. Even though its not located exactly located in the Main road, It's still worth going to.
They have quite an assortment of coffees, and the ones we ordered tasted great.
The vegetable dishes are soo good! maybe because they are so near to the source. (just my guess)
Then to end this trip right, we went to get our fill of booze from
Baguio Craft Brewery -
120 RKC Building, Marcos Highway, Bakakeng Central 2600 Baguio City
The place was lively, and they offer a lot of crafted beers. All the information about their crafted beers are provided in the wall of the bar, so you can decide how strong the beer you want.
The place is 2 floors, the 1st one being their production floor/mini bar, then the top one is the Main Bar with views of Baguio City.
Beer's were all great, we tried most of it, but made sure that we weren't drunk so we can go back to our hotel safely.
This cap our Baguio trip and hope you enjoyed the photos of the food and places.
