RE: Cryptocurrency Time To Think Outside Credit Card

in #philosophy7 years ago

It's because a large percentage of the United States, and other developed countries, have debit and credit cards. The more people using a cryptocurrency the better, so developers want to sell to a larger portion of people. A majority of people will not buy a bike or car that generates cryptocurrency. Its sad but a real fact. I, along with the majority of people, spend USD through a debit card. If you are making a currency to replace USD, then you must replace debit and credit cards. But your ideas are good and interesting concepts.

Do add your own ideas too. Someone could pick these up and work on it. Quite confident for instance, - I wrote this a few months ago in my old blog PentaPrison - that Elon Musk could mine bitcoin using his SpaceX - send a miner system into orbit, it will constantly be cooled, it will use infinite solar, it won't get dust. He could mine other coins too, and amass enough to cash out to complete his Mars program in record time. Or he simply can make a Tesla ico that ties into the solar, car, battery trinity.
