Hello Steemians,
This is a post that is basically my analysis of whether humanity would benefit from a money-less society. I am in no way associated with this field of work and these are simply my opinions as a 25-year-old programmer and father of 3. I simply hope to engage the Steem community and perhaps spark a decent conversation.
Working for no money
Most people would argue that working with no monetary incentive would simply mean people wouldn't be motivated to work at all and inevitably lead to the end of humanity. My thoughts are that we would progress as a race significantly.
Why work then?
With money out of the equation, people would simply work on what they are passionate about, not what would make their own life financially better. Think of your current job is. Most likely it is something that you do enjoy doing, but whether you are truly passionate about the things you do in that job is another topic. Most people would be working for a company, simply doing what they are instructed to do and the person that inevitably get the most (monetary) reward for the work you have performed is the owner (or owners) of that company.
In a money-less society, people would not be "forced" to pursue careers that are less than 100% desirable to them. People who want to teach will teach the people who want to be taught. Then those students will go on and use that knowledge to pursue their own projects for the betterment of society.
But people are selfish
Yes, there are a lot of people that are selfish and will only want to do things that benefit themselves. But the purpose of a money-less society is that with no incentive to do something people are forced to collaborate with others that have the knowledge they require solely based on the fact that they do not have that knowledge.
In short, if I do not have the knowledge to fix a car, then I am forced to locate someone that does know how to. It is then likely that that person does not have the knowledge you hold. This forces people to generate relationships based on the skills people hold and not the value they hold as the price they charge for their services and how much an individual can afford to pay based on their income stream.
I still don't think it will work
That may be the case, but once again this is an analysis based on the knowledge I hold as an individual. It very well may not work. But the current trends I see in the software development scene shows that it is possible for people to work together for no perceived monetary gain. I say "perceived" because even most open source software has a deep monetary underlay (but that should be another article), that being said, the open source projects that are located around the internet show that people can work together, even though there is no direct monetary advantage to themselves. They do it simply for the experience and to assist others that require their knowledge.
Ok, enough rambling already
I hope you did enjoy this post, I may have ramble with non-sense but I am simply using this as an exercise for offloading my thoughts and hopefully encouraging a conversation.
Cool beans man.
people will also pursue their passion instead of going for any job ,if there is equality in pay grade across different job.
This is correct. That is why if people are persuaded to pursue particular roles based on the dollar figure, humanity will advance naturally as it has done in the past.

@anarcist69. great idea. I particularly like the point which you told people will look for people with needed skills. But a questions remains. How will we buy things without money? In your idea this should work like a barter system?
I personally feel that a barter system would inevitably lead to a monetary system again. Because in both the barter and monetray systems force people to put value in there work.
A money-less system would work on the basis that humanity is all working together for the betterment of humanity as a whole.
Therefore a Utopian sense of ownership should apply where by people do what they can for humanity (i.e. manufacturing, farming etc.) And the prouducts are distributed as needed.
People do what they have to and get what they need.
@anarcist69 ya, it is a good thought. But for that all the people should be equally good.It might be little difficult.... :)
