Hi there - I just noticed that you're not upvoting your own posts. Any particular reason for this? I've seen a few people start doing this, and it made me wonder if there's a rumor going around that upvoting your posts can hurt you.

No rumour @biophil. I stopped upvoting my posts because I equated it to liking my own facebook post. I wouldn't do that, and it just felt kind of weird to vote up my own post because truly, I already like my post, it goes without saying. Hope that answers your question.
Yep, that answers it - and sorry if I was being too nosy. I'm just so used to people being greedy and self-aggrandizing on this platform. :)
