KARMA

Karma
What goes around, comes around
What you sow, so shall Ye also reap.
He who lives by the sword, shall die by the sword
I think, no matter what one calls it, most people believe in this to some degree, or at least hope it's true, as most people dislike seeing a scoundrel go through life seemingly unscathed when he's been the cause of untold misery to countless others.
People very often wish misfortune on another when they themselves had been hurt by them
They may hear of someone who's a complete cad for some reason or another and think " oh he'll get his in the end", but it's only when they've been hurt themselves, does it become personal
For example
After the bitter breakup of a couple, one or both may desire to see the others life "fall to pieces".
The thought of their once loved and cherished partner, moving on and being happy without them becomes almost unbearable. ( this says a great deal about the person feeling this)
The thought of them meeting another and being happy with their replacement would be even worse, and may be an indication that it was they themselves who was the problem, not the other way round.
To wish misfortune on another is extremely foolish.
It's practising the law of attraction and it has a sort of boomerang effect.
A person full of hateful thoughts and feelings towards another is full of hate and fear.
There's no two ways about it.
Karma ( or whatever one wants to call it) , is a natural law.
It just " IS"
There's no point denying it
EVERYTHING We do has consequences, physically and in the spiritual realm.
However we choose to live our lives, we WILL reap the harvest sooner or later
There are some people who've done terrible things who do seem to be unaffected.
They appear to live a charmed life and " karma" seems to have passed them by altogether.
Nothing could be further from the truth
Appearances are more often than not, deceptive.
( don't I know it!)
Just because outward appearances may seem to indicate this, we have no idea what's happening internally.
Nor is it any of our business.
Our purpose is not to wander the earth looking to find fault in others, then to wish evil upon them.
We should be looking at ourselves, lest we attract bad " karma"
I never used to think this way
I think I was worse than most when it came to wishing misfortune on those who'd wounded me.
I've done much soul searching over the years and I've had to face up to a lot of things about myself that would've been much easier to ignore.
But....
No pain, no gain
It's much wiser to remove a splinter which is causing pain, than to leave it there, even if the removal is more painful than the constant discomfort.
At least it's gone and will cause no more pain.
If left, eventually it will become infected and cause more problems than you'd bargained for, and you'll chastise yourself for not dealing with it sooner.
It's the same with a toothache or anything that's causing pain
Only a fool would ignore it and hope it goes away.
Strangely enough, many do.

What goes around indeed does come around whether you believe it or not.
ALL of us will suffer the consequences of our actions sooner or later.
There is NO escaping it!
To wish to see the manifestation of this in another persons life is not only foolish, but very dangerous for several reasons

YOU are NOT without sin!!!
YOU are NOT a " good" person!
The only reason anyone would believe they are, is if they are constantly justifying their words and actions.
Anyone can be seen as " good" or " bad" depending on the perspective
You might be a " great guy" to your best friend and a complete scoundrel to your ex girlfriend
Both are true in a way, based on their own perceptions.
To justify yourself is the stupidest thing anyone could possibly do.
I can't stress this enough!
Our stupid, base ideas about good and bad, right and wrong are nothing but ridiculous standards we've made up to help us delude ourselves in this fatuous game we've all bought into.
We're all playing it!
And we just keep going round and around the game board, it's never ending.
Take your playing piece and leave!!!

Wishing bad " karma" on someone is deflection
You should be wishing it on yourself instead
( now that's a radical statement)
If you're not brave enough to look within yourself, you definitely shouldn't be trying to look inside anyone else.
There is NO relief to be found without pain.
You can either live with the dull constant pain for the rest of your life or suffer extreme pain for but a moment in time and then be rid of it for good.
YOU are NO better than the people you accuse!
This is a fact!
Delude yourself about this all you like, it doesn't make what you think true.
Truth is truth
There are NO other versions

To continue to wish evil on others is not only practising sorcery but it's making you sick.
It's spiritual poison and it's slowly killing you.

If someone has harmed you
Wish them well
If they slap your cheek
Give them the other one to slap
If they demand your coat
Give them your shirt also
( more extremely radical statements)
Didn't someone else once say these things?
What a strange man he must've been.,,
But of course YOU who loves to cast stones are far wiser than the man who spoke these words.

I don't follow this philosophy because I've adopted some set of beliefs that I've just chosen to adhere to.
I know these things as pure truth
I don't always practice what I preach, but when I don't, I always suffer to some degree because of it.

Unfortunately most will hold on for dear life to their delusions, preferring to ignore the truth of the matter for fear of the pain it might cause to do otherwise.

Like I said, EVERYONE will have to pay the piper eventually, one way or another, but it's absolutely NONE of your business to be looking or wishing for it on another!

You should ONLY be concerned with your own spiritual wellbeing.

Humble thyself!!!
