Hey community ,
I just wanted to share some of the
most fundamental ideas of life,. enjoy..
1. The Principle of Mentalism.
"THE ALL IS MIND; The Universe is Mental."
2. The Principle of Correspondence.
"As above, so below; as below, so above."
3. The Principle of Vibration.
"Nothing rests; everything moves; everything vibrates."
4. The Principle of Polarity.
"Everything is Dual; everything has poles; everything has its
pair of opposites; like and unlike are the same; opposites are
identical in nature, but different in degree; extremes meet;
all truths are but half-truths; all paradoxes may be
reconciled."
5. The Principle of Rhythm.
"Everything flows, out and in; everything has its tides;
all things rise and fall; the pendulum-swing manifests in
everything; the measure of the swing to the right is the
measure of the swing to the left; rhythm compensates
6. The Principle of Cause and Effect.
"Every Cause has its Effect; every Effect has its Cause;
everything happens according to Law; Chance is but a name
for Law not recognized; there are many planes of causation,
but nothing escapes the Law."
7. The Principle of Gender.
"Gender is in everything; everything has its Masculine
and Feminine Principles; Gender manifests on all
planes."

Hey @brado :) Great to see some fellow alchemists in the land of steem. Keep on sharing - it's time for the mysteries to be revealed to all who choose to accept and put them to use <3
Well said my friend. The dawn has passed and light in starting to spread far and wide.
be prepared know thyself ;)
These principles were proposed in the Kybalion, which can be argued are not exactly Hermetic. I have been reading this book for some time now, multiple times, and while they have had a positive effect in my life, be careful not to cast the pearls before the swine. Without true understanding they can not be applied in a proper manner. FWIW, the book has been almost positively attributed to William Walker Atkinson. I do not discredit its use, but do make sure to provide the proper context so that it can be used properly by students seeking the path.
"The lips of wisdom are closed, except to the ears of Understanding" -- The Kybalion
Great info! thank you.. I was taught them through word of mouth when I was much younger, they're written on the 2nd page of a personal journal ive carried around for 8 years, i never knew where exactly they came from but I know them to be fundamental in my life. Anything beyond the first point, to me- is just thought being creative and observing itself,.
