Thanks for sharing. I love the philosophy of Lao Tzu about Taoism. I guess, it fits as a generalized principle. Wayne Dyer, one of the spiritual leaders of all time, teaches the philosophy of Lao Tzu

STOPWe have the same saying and teaching in Buddhism. The concept is called 'sun-doth' meaning to be satisfy (content) with what one has or knowing 'enough is enough'. That's why most people, in my country, in the past were not very ambitious or greedy. But the ideas of progress,capitalism, material gratifications and profit making have changed all that.
